rise n shine...

actually woke up at 6:00 on a sunday morning to catch the sunrise.... i went up a small hill near home (the girinagar gudda) to get a better view and wasn't really pleased to see that i couldnt find anything other than the sun in the frame :-( ...... finally i ended up using just the plants and trees to compose.

the one thing that came as a pleasant surprise as i was clicking the sunrise was the quality of light that kept improving every minute.... unlike clicking the sunset where the sun dips down as soon as u got the best idea for composition and ur left staring at the blank horizon!

have uploaded the rest of the pictures on my yahoo page

here's what jaggi had to say... i hope he doesnt mind me posting it without his permission :-P

"....i think it requires a decent amount of exposure ..that 1st foto in your blog, is slightly dark…swalpa exposure jaasthi itt nodbeku heg barathey antha.

Usually sun thegiyo vaaga , “negative space” jasthi idrey, sun du effect sakkath aagi irathey ansuthey... like for instance the 1st foto on your blog... however, the foto titled ‘source’ covers the sun and looks like the subject is the plant(which is all entangled)... however the foto silhouette and 2nd diagnol foto have lot of negative space which makes it more interesting to watch the sun"

Arey...Illa...neene nanna photography guru...Thought a little objectivity wouldn't hurt considering the amount of adulation you might be receiving (as a photographer of course :P)..BTW Totally agree with Jaggi...
